Act Today for Tomorrow!

Participants will be introduced to many of the concepts and tools community leaders need to compete successfully in today's and tomorrow's-global marketplace.

QL21 will help us work together to meet present needs without compromising the needs of the future. It will help us integrate economic health and vitality, environmental integrity and social/cultural well-being, contributing to the overall quality of life in our communities.

Leaders who excel will be thoroughly versed in sustainability concepts that are being discussed worldwide: quality of life indicators, computer aided visioning, eco-industrial parks, systems thinking in schools, and low impact design, among others.

You will leave the conference with an action statement for adoption by your local governing body that could help set the course for your community and the state to thrive into the 21st century.

QL21 will give you a taste of what people worldwide are talking about. If you are interested in learning more about sustainability place your business card in a fishbowl on Friday to win "Quality of Life" door prizes. Prizes include free registration to conferences providing in-depth information including the Green Institute's eco-industrial park conference in September, Wisconsin Visitor's and Convention Bureau Conference in November, books and informational materials, Wisconsin posters, etc...
