I would like to inform you that the City of Green Bay will be hosting a Municipal Security Conference on Monday, November 12, 2001 in Green Bay at the KI Convention Center. As an interested party in terrorism preparedness, you are invited to participate in this event providing education and best practices for municipalities.
Participation in the Conference will include municipal leaders, representatives from police, fire, and emergency response community, state officials, and statewide experts in the field of domestic preparedness. Attendance is open to all parties interested in municipal security.
The Conference is being held to educate municipal leaders on local security issues and provide for a place to share best practices regarding municipal security. Please see attached agenda for tentative education topics at the Conference.
A registration form for the meeting is also attached. The fee for the conference is $25.00 to cover room rental, lunch, and various other basic expenses. Both the fee and the registration form need to be returned by Wednesday, November 7, 2001 to register for the Conference.
